Community Garden Day and Annual Meeting April 23

As our theme for this year's Annual Meeting says, "Hope springs!" We're excited for the new growing season and for our garden-centered celebration on April 23. Rain or shine, we'll gather to learn, share, and have some fun and good food. Here's everything you need to know:

• 4-5:30 pm: Garden fun for kids and adults (start in the store - everyone is welcome, whether you're a co-op member or not)
  • Join our garden treasure hunt
  • Make a paper flower with Nina Wellen
  • Join special guest Linda Enerson, founder of Ox & Robin seeds, to learn about ways to "Compost, Sow, and Grow" - seed-starting, repurposing plastic containers, turning scraps into beautiful new soil, and more
  • Help us imagine ways to refresh the garden and incorporate memories of community and family members
  • Visit with board members and learn more about what we've been up to at the co-op
  • Enjoy snacks and treats*
• 5:30 pm: Pre-meeting mingling with snacks and a final chance for members to vote
• 6-7 pm: Annual Meeting - Hear from the co-op's leadership about the past year and future plans

Table activities, food, and the meeting itself will be at the Universalist Church across the street from the store. We hope to see you there!

*We'll have some good food from our own kitchen but we welcome potluck contributions of finger food too. Email us if you'd like to contribute.

Co-op members: Remember to exercise your right to vote for our co-op's leadership by voting in the store until April 23 (or at the Annual Meeting until 6 pm that day). You can read about this year's board candidates here or in the binder next to the ballot box in the store.
